Fake PSP Memory Cards Sold at Ebay

No comments June 10th, 2009

PSP memory sticks and also other accessories have become popular breeding grounds for fakeĀ  products in Ebay. If you ever want to buy memory sricks for your PSP or any other device in Ebay, I strongly recommend you take the following precautions.

  • Everybody loves a bargain. But in this case if you see an item well below the high street price avoid like plague. I don’t like to say this but it’s true. Most of the PSP memory cards on sale at any given time are fakes imported from China. If you choose to buy these, you may save some dollars upfront. But you may have to suffer the consequences later on.
  • Always look for a highly rated seller with a feedback of above 99.8% (if the score is above 500). If the feedback score is below 500, I personally don’t accept anything less than 100% rating. Remember to read through some of the actual seller feedbacks received.
  • Thoroughly examine the pictures and the details provided and ask the seller the questions if you have any doubt.
  • PSP memory cards are easy fool people with. There are memory accessories in the market which says and promises high volumes of memory (1GB – 16GB) but in actual case the memory stick will not even provide half of what’s promised.
  • Ultimately it’s totally common sense to assess the product listed is a fake or genuine. Be it PSP memory or Pyjamas for your girlfriend, if the deal looks too good to be true, it usally is.

So spend your cash wisely. Don’t let the fraudsters walk to their bank laughing at you. Although this relate to any product or service listed in Ebay, frauds and fake goods seem to be very common in the following categories like gaming accessories. So if you want a bargain for a PSP memory card in ebay, think again and think carefully before you commit with a bid.
